INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION

The Applicant supports youth in their community who want to complete their tennis instructors certification from the Tennis Professionals Association. Youth and young adults who have volunteered for our programming are eligible to apply for funding to pay for all the fees associated with completing their instructors certification.

Each year we provide three to five participants to complete this certification process. The cost is $599 per participant and it consists of demonstration, leadership, teaching, knowledge and Making Ethical Decisions evaluations and an online kids tennis module.

This program is vital to our organization’s capacity as this pathway ensures that we can provide youth within our community employment opportunities as tennis instructors within our programs and to the greater tennis community in Toronto.
